Don’t forget to swing by Manson Swap Meet at Manson Elementary! 11-1, don’t forget, everything is free!!

Our Manson Hope Squaders had the BEST day at the Regional Hope Squad Conference at Waterville School 💙
Our students joined 200+ student leaders from across North Central Washington to learn strategies for protecting and strengthening our mental health & wellbeing—and connected with incredible community resources along the way. 🛟
To wrap up the day, our Manson Hope Squad Officer team (Sarita, Lainey, Aaliyah, Marin & Jaime) led a powerful session on the impact of intentional connections—within, between, and beyond our schools.
Students and advisors left energized, inspired and ready to intentionally connect with each other when we return to school on Monday! 🔗
So proud of this team and the way they represent Manson wherever they go 💪✨

Preschool buddies trying to find Waldo during their downtime.
Our full day preschool option is receiving great reviews from our community. If you have interest in free all day preschool-give us a call or stop by the office to pick up a registration packet.

Manson Elementary teachers engaged in professional development today. Pictured here is Linda James, our English Language Development Specialist, providing important information about how to best serve our students.

Planning for the future of Manson schools starts with our community.
Last night, our new Community Facilities Task Force held its first meeting, and we're excited to share that the work is officially underway!
Roughly 20 community members, parents, and staff came together to tour Manson Elementary, meet one another, and start shaping a long-range facilities plan that will guide how we maintain and support our school buildings for years to come. Visit: manson.org/article/2826278 for more information!

Students in Ms. Sorenson's Geometry class used scale factor math to enlarge small figures. They found that enlarging a figure changes its surface area and volume in predictable ways. If you triple the dimensions, the surface area becomes 9 times larger and the volume becomes 27 times larger. This happens because surface area depends on two dimensions, making it a squared relationship, while volume depends on three dimensions, making it a cubic relationship. Check out their projects!

Manson School District offices will be closed April 3rd to April 10th for Spring Break. We will see you when we return to school on Monday, April 13th!

After months of practice, both the 7th and 8th grade bands performed at the regional band festival in Brewster working with judges Calvin Gorman (Omak) and internationally published composer Jonathan McBride. Under the direction of Manson's Matt Brown, both groups earned the highest rating of Superior Plus!
A big thanks to Alicia Pulsifer and Brewster Schools for helping host as Manson's gym was being remodeled.
Way to go!!!

Great news! Our gym floor repairs are complete, and it’s looking better than ever with a fresh new logo and finish. 🏀✨
To keep it in top condition, we’re asking all students to wear indoor-only gym shoes on the floor. Please remember to bring appropriate shoes for PE and sports.
Thanks for helping us keep our gym looking its best!

3rd grade students from Manson Elementary have been recognized in the 2026 Art Link contest. Jose Valdovinos earned 2nd place and 1st place went to Johann Guijosa-Pastor and Emily Lane. Their artwork will be displayed inside Link buses and at Pybus Market.

✨ During Strong Time Advisory, four incredible seniors (Amelia, Jerry, Maria, & Luis) provided some powerful career mentoring to our 8th graders! Seniors shared their career pathways, post-high school plans, resumes, and personal accomplishments, helping make the High School & Beyond planning process feel real, relevant, and achievable. 🎓 Our Seniors were poised, reflective, and inspiring. Our 8th graders asked insightful questions and walked away feeling excited about the future. 🌟 👏 Big thanks to Mr. Little (Gear Up Coordinator), Mrs. Helleson (Middle School Counselor), and 8th grade advisors Mrs. Nicholson & Mrs. Johanson for making this meaningful experience possible! #FutureReady #StudentLeaders #MentorshipMatters #HighSchoolAndBeyond #WeAreManson

Leadership in Action: Manson High School seniors are teaching job interview skills to the freshmen class.

Home MS Knowledge Bowl meet today at 4:30pm.
Middle school Knowledge Bowl season is such an exciting time for our students! Knowledge Bowl brings together curious minds who love to learn, think critically, and collaborate under pressure. Students dive into topics ranging from math and science to literature, history, and current events—strengthening not only their academic knowledge but also their teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. It is inspiring to watch our students represent our school with confidence, perseverance, and sportsmanship as they compete and grow together. We are so proud of their dedication and the enthusiasm they bring to celebrating learning in action! And a huge thank you to coach, Erik Helleson!!

Meet Kato!! Chelan County's narcotic detection dog. He worked hard today, ensuring that Manson schools remains a safe and secure learning environment.
Maintaining a safe and secure school environment is essential to student well-being and learning, and the random presence of a drug detection dog on campus can serve as a proactive, preventative measure that reinforces our commitment to a healthy, focused school community. When implemented thoughtfully and paired with clear communication, prevention education, and student support systems, this approach emphasizes deterrence and safety rather than punishment. Random visits help reduce the likelihood of substances being brought to campus, protect students from peer pressure and potential harm, and strengthen confidence among families and staff that the school is taking reasonable, responsible steps to prioritize student safety while keeping the primary focus on teaching, learning, and positive school culture.
