Our fifth graders had an extraordinary opportunity to learn about the human heart and the exciting world of healthcare through the Medical Pipeline Program in partnership with Columbia Valley Community Health (CVCH) recently. They participated in three interactive lessons that explored the heart and cardiovascular system in a way that was both educational and fun.

In Career Connections classes, seniors have been preparing for life beyond high school by participating in networking interviews with professionals from their future career fields. This invaluable experience is helping them build confidence and professional connections. Freshmen are also honing their skills by taking part in mock interviews guided by seniors who have been mentoring them in interview techniques.

Mrs. Whitney and the first 4th graders of the year to pass recorder Book One. Congrats!

Our strategic planning committee held its second meeting in February to help plan for the future of Manson schools.

The committee includes staff, students, and community members, all being guided through the process by instructional leaders from North Central ESD 171.

Every voice brings an important perspective as we define the skills and attributes we want and expect for every Manson graduate. In March, the committee will dig into data and current information to help set goals and priorities, which will then be recommended to our Board of Directors.

Elementary students recently celebrated 100 days of school with learning activity stations. The school year is flying by!
