If you received a CNEEB in the mail and haven’t returned it yet, please take a moment to do so.

Why it matters: completed CNEEBs help our school qualify for important state and federal funding that supports meals, classroom programs, staffing, transportation, and more. Even if you think you don’t qualify, every form counts and directly benefits students and schools.

It’s quick, confidential, and makes a real difference. Thank you for helping support our students and our school community!

As we close out School Board Recognition Month, we want to take another opportunity to thank Manson board members Greg Neff, Amanada Zuluaga, Kourtney Alanis, Ruth Escalera, and Krysta Westmoreland for all that they do on behalf of our students.

Yesterday, Mr. Neff, Mrs. Alanis, Mrs. Westmoreland, and Superintendent Tabatha Mires toured our elementary school with fifth-grade student guides, Roxanna Lopez and Lyna Bercier. The tour highlighted several of the school's enrichment learning spaces, including fifth-grade archery, fourth-grade music, first-grade art, and first-grade Spanish.

Our board members' leadership and commitment to "Continuous Student Learning" make our schools stronger!

This week students in Manson organized and ran a complete hot dog stand—warm grilled dogs, all the toppings, and bottled water were delivered with smiles.

Every student had an important role: order takers, prep chefs, and delivery specialists. They worked together, served their school community, and absolutely crushed it!

This is the kind of learning that prepares our students for life. Thank you, Mr. Valdovinos and team, for making it happen!

The Final Score of the Dual was 42-36 with big wins from senior Blaze Webb, Junior Gomes and Cooper Pinski. Seniors Liam Regan and Alekz Torres also won matches throughout the night.

Our Manson Elementary team recently completed training in financial literacy lessons designed to help students build real-world skills for the future.

These lessons, known as "Manson Millionaire Time," will take place January 26–29 and June 1–4, schoolwide across all elementary grade levels!

Students will explore age-appropriate topics like counting money, wants vs. needs, earning and saving, making change, budgeting with a monthly salary, taxes and deductions, advertising and peer pressure, checking and savings accounts, and basic investing—just to name a few.

The lessons were developed by Manson math teacher Kate Sorenson and are available on her website if you’d like to take a look! https://www.financeinschools.com/ttk-5
