Dear Manson Staff and Families,
Earlier today, the Manson School Board took formal action to enter into negotiations with Mr. Ian Crossland for the position of Superintendent of Manson School District. Following successful negotiations, the Board is proud to announce the selection of Mr. Crossland as Manson School District’s next Superintendent, effective July 1, 2026.
Mr. Crossland emerged from a highly competitive field of candidates and brings a unique combination of educational leadership experience, a commitment to student success, and roots in North Central Washington. Throughout his career, he has served students and families as a teacher, district administrator, Head of School, and educational leader both nationally and internationally. His leadership has been grounded in high expectations, strong relationships, community partnership, and a belief that every student deserves opportunities to learn, lead, and thrive.
The Board would like to express its sincere appreciation to the staff, students, families, and community members who participated throughout the search process. Your thoughtful feedback, engagement, and commitment to Manson Schools played an important role in helping inform this important decision.
The Board is excited about the future of Manson School District and the opportunities ahead for our students. The dedication of our staff, families, and community has created a strong foundation for continued growth and success. As we welcome Mr. Crossland to Manson, we look forward to building on the great work already underway and continuing our shared commitment to developing students who are prepared to learn, lead, and contribute to their communities and the world around them.
