Manson School District is proud to announce it has been awarded over $275,000 in grant funding through the 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) program, administered by Communities in Schools of North Central Washington (CISNCW), renewable for three years through a federal grant. This significant grant funding will directly support the development and expansion of high-quality after-school and non-school-day programming for Manson students.

The grant will enhance opportunities for academic support, enrichment activities, and family engagement, helping students thrive both inside and outside of the classroom. Manson School District Superintendent Tabatha Mires expressed deep appreciation for the partnership and the impact it will have on local students.

“We are incredibly grateful to receive this funding through the 21st Century program, in partnership with Communities in Schools of North Central Washington,” said Mires. “This grant allows us to continue building innovative and academically enriching after-school, summer, and Friday programs that meet the needs of our students and families. It reflects our community’s shared commitment to student academic success and well-being and aligns with our strategic plan.”

The after-school initiatives will begin rolling out this fall, with offerings that include academic tutoring, STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) activities, career exploration, recreation, wellness, enrichment, and family engagement events.
