I plan to listen to the issues, actively discuss solutions and make decisions that best benefit student learning and success based on Manson's Vision Statements.  I will ask questions that help me understand district policies and perspectives.  I will work to make Manson have an environment where life-long learning is supported and equity is systematically embraced.

Planeo escuchar los problemas, discutir activamente las soluciones y tomar las decisiones que mejor benefician el aprendizaje y el éxito de los estudiantes según la Declaración de la Visión de Manson. Haré preguntas que me ayuden a entender las pólizas y perspectivas del Distrito. Trabajaré para hacer que Manson tenga un entorno en el que se apoye el aprendizaje de por vida y se acepte sistemáticamente la igualdad.

Professional Experience:  Thirty five years of teaching grades 4-6.  Theatre arts director/producer-10 years.

Education: BA-Whitworth College, 1975; Reading emphasis-Whitworth College, 1978; Theatre Arts training-Humboldt State,1986

Outside Interests: Flyfishing, tying flies and telling fishing stories.  Playing golf with friends.  Cross-country skiing.  Growing and harvesting fresh vegetables and fruits from our garden.  Gathering for family events.

Personal Information: I have been married to Sue (Neff) for nearly 30 years.  We have six children all graduates of Manson and six grandchildren.
