Cultural Celebration Night

On Thursday, April 27th Manson families packed the school full with a line that wrapped around the building and down the street to experience Cultural Celebration Night! Upon entering families had their picture taken and taped inside their “passport.” The school was as festive as could be adorned with decor to represent countries around the world including Ireland, Norway, Mexico, South Africa, Egypt, Puerto Rico, Brazil, Greece and Spain. Passports were stamped and desserts were enjoyed! Room hosted had craft and game tables set up along with beautiful student art displayed. A highlight of the night was the amazing folkloric dances performed by preschool, kindergarten and high school students as well as a 1st grade musical performance. Manson graduates, Andres Grageda and Roberto Hernandez played live music while families enjoyed dinner. After dinner everyone gathered outside for the traditional Manson World Cup Soccer Tournament and a family board game raffle. It was an amazing night! Huge shout out to Addie Grageda for organizing this event and to all of the staff, students and community for your role in making this a super special night to enjoy together.
