iKnow the Music - Student Version

    Hello Bands!

There are the 3 things that you should focus on during this time (these will be graded).

Practicing – I have attached the practice log again and these should be emailed to me weekly every Friday, starting this Friday.  As long as you are practicing a little bit each day that will be great (30min. is a great start).  If you look on the sheet check out all of the things that count as practice!!!

iKnow the Music (7th, 8th, and HS Bands ONLY) – Choose one of the pieces that we are doing for marching and fill out as much information as you can on this sheet.  Please read what each question is asking for completely.

Sound-offs (playing quizzes) – The sound-off for each grade will be as follows:
6th Grade – #90 Theme and Variation and #91 Banana Boat Song
    7th Grade – #179 American Patrol
8th Grade – #107 The Chromatic Scale (don’t worry, I will have some YouTube Videos on this one!)
HS Band – All of the Ultimate Warm-up

I will give directions on how to get these recorded and sent to me in the following days once you are ready, but no hurry, you have until the end of the trimester.

To help you with your practicing, I plan on making YouTube videos weekly.  Here’s the link to my page:
