I was born in Chelan, Wa and grew up between Manson and Wenatchee.  I graduated from Wenatchee High School then Central Washington University.  I began my teaching career at Eastmont School District as a special education teacher.  I have taught elementary special education, second and third grade.  I have been teaching in Manson since 2007.   My passion is teaching students who have challenges to identify, understand and overcome.

In my extra time, I have found a creative outlet in owning and helping to run a local family restaurant.  I also love spending time with my family and friends exploring and finding new adventures in skiing, biking and hiking and supporting my three children in activities they enjoy.
