Pledge to Clients: Teach all students how to read and play music through games, songs, instruments, and explorations.

Professional Experience: One year of substituting in the Spokane and Cheney school districts. 12 years of teaching in the Manson School District. Mrs. Whitney has taught 1^st-5^th grades PE, 1^st grade, 2^nd grade, various Afters classes, & K-5 music. She is currently teaching music to all students in Manson Elementary.

Education:  BAE from Eastern Washington University in K-8 General Classroom and K-12 music with endorsements in Reading, Library Science, Instrumental, and Choral Instruction. Masters in education from Grand Canyon University online.  National Board Professional Certification in Early/Middle Childhood music.

Outside Interests: Most outdoor activities, but especially hiking, camping, and swimming in Lake Chelan. Mrs. Whitney also enjoys spending time with family, quilting, knitting & reading.

Personal Information: Mrs. Whitney is married to Brian Whitney and they have one daughter, one crazy cat, and one dog.
