Hello Manson Trojans,
Welcome to our Middle and High School Physical Education Website. Here you can find the bell schedule, classroom expectations, spare fittness log sheets, and links to local fitness, adventure, and outdoor sites. The following is a little bit about me...
I grew up in Wenatchee, and graduated from WHS in 2007. I went on to be a rower at Washington State University and competed there during my undergraduate education. I also received my personal training certification and trained people of all ages at the WSU student recreation center. On top of that I was also a group fitness instructor in pink gloves boxing, TRX, Tabata, Gravity Training. I then went on to receive my masters in teaching and complete my student teaching in Clarkston, Washington. While still living in Pullman, I fell in love with the small town feel while teaching at Potlatch, Idaho. I taught elementary PE and High School Anatomy while coaching Middle School and High School Volleyball and High School Track. For two years I also served the Potlatch School District as their Athletic Director while cheering on the Loggers. My husband and I were missing home, but still loved the small school feel so Manson is a perfect move and fit for our family and I am pumped to lead the Trojans to the next level!
Enough of the nitty gritty... Last year, we had our daughter Jocelyn! This October she will be a 1 year old and is already a true gym-brat. I am sure if you were at the gym this Summer, you saw her at least once cruising around the gym in her walker-- feel free to give her a fist bump as you walk by. We just moved to Manson, and we can't say enough how much we love our new home and community. You may see us on a run or down at the park with our dog Turner, or out enjoying the sun down by the lake. Please feel free to say "Hello"! Thank you for such a warm welcome last year and let's get ready to move!
On this site you will see a celebration of this year's student accomplishments so make sure to check back to see "Max Celebrations" and athletic events through out the year. Feel free to send me an e-mail with any questions or concerns and GOOOOO TROJANS!
Sincerely Yours,
Sarah Wiggum
