My name is Cassie Pilkinton, and I am beginning my fourth year at Manson Elementary as a fifth grade teacher in english language arts and social studies.  I grew up in the Chelan Valley, and graduated from Chelan High School.  I went on to pursue a teaching degree at Whitworth University in Spokane, while continuing to play basketball.  

Before working as a teacher full time, I managed a drive through coffee stand in Spokane.  I had a lot of fun getting to know my regular customers, training new employees, and the fast-paced environment...and, of course, the delicious coffee! 

Some of my favorite things to do are: spending time with my family, traveling to new places, watching/playing sports, and playing on the lake in the Summer.  I love country music and I have recently started to enjoy fishing in the area as well!  I am very passionate about reading, and helping my students to find a book that they are so interested in that they can't put it down.
