Marlene Gonzales | Marlene Gonzales has chosen for her senior project to produce a mock car crash/ DUI assembly with help from adviser, Christy Libbey and fellow classmates; Bronte Toolson, Aaron Rapozo, Phaedra Castro, Bryan Morales, Monica Sanchez, Leonel Castro, and Eva Escoto. The drunk driving/mock car crash assembly will be held on April 9th at the Manson Secondary School from 12:30 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.
The purpose of this assembly is to inform students on the dangers and consequences of drinking and driving. They have invited the following schools to join the students of Manson: Chelan, Waterville, Bridgeport, Pateros, Mansfield, Brewster, and Entiat. In addition to inviting all these schools they would also like to invite the community to join them.
The agencies that will be helping are Chelan County Fire District 5, Chelan County Sheriff’s Office, Lake Chelan Emergency Medical Service, Burkhard Towing Company, David Hellyer, Washington State Patrol, Lake Chelan Community Hospital, Rivercom Dispatch Service, and others. The response from these agencies has been outstanding while working closely with the students.
If you have questions please call Manson Secondary School at (509)687-9585.
