The Manson Secondary Drama Class is off to a great start, as demonstrated by the success of their first production, “A Charlie Brown Christmas.”
Many hours went into stage design, prop production and costuming, all of which was done solely by the student actors and actresses themselves. Katie McDaniel, who played Lucy, the often ambivalent antagonist, offered that, “our performance wouldn’t have been possible without the hard-working students and volunteers involved.”
The play was directed by Phil Fournier and Alexis Rapozo, who also provided the script. Live music for the play was provided by Vaughn Schnelle and Jesse Russell.
Speaking on behalf of the whole of the drama class, assistant director Alexis Rapozo said “I feel that, as our theatre class’ official debut, the play went off wonderfully and all of the actors performed well.”, Vaughn Schnelle.
The Drama Club has another wonderful play in the works...stay tuned for their next performance.
