MansonHigh School Vo-AG Hosted 2010 AG Mechanic Welding Contest

The Manson High School Shop area was all a buzz with students welding, hammering and sawing during the 2010 Welding Contest on Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2010. Competing this year were 5 teams from Manson 2 teams from Wenatchee and Cashmere and Tonasket each with one team.
Manson Shop Teacher, Kevin Amsden also invited Chelan County PUD Hydro Mechanic, Sandi Loeffler who gave a presentation on her role with the PUD which included a slide show of PUD workers in action. Leoffler also shared some of her experiences as a certified crane operator with the students.
A complete list of the contestant’s results will be added when the tallying is complete and submitted by Amsden.
