Good News !

The NCLB Title III is a program which helps students learn English and achieve academically.  Each year progress toward this goal is measured in three areas by the Washington Language Proficiency Test WLPT and the WASL.  In 2008-09 the Manson School District met goals 1) the number and percentage of students making progress in learning English and 2) the number and percentage of students becoming fluent in English. The students in grade 3-5 did not meet goal 3) percent meeting standard in math and reading on the WASL.  Becoming fluent in English and being successful academically is a difficult process and can take several years.  The district is working hard to provide a program to make sure all the goals are met.
