National Board Certification

Manson School District is proud to announce that four teachers have earned their National Board Certification for the 2009-2010 school year.  Like board-certified doctors and accountants, teachers who achieve National Board Certification have met rigorous standards through intensive study, expert evaluation, self-assessment and peer review.  Manson School District now has five nationally board certified teachers with several more working towards completion.

Two teachers from Manson Elementary earned their certification: Kristin Nelson and Andrea Whitney.  Two teachers from Manson Secondary also earned their certification: Sue Neff and Heather Teague. At the January 25th school board meeting the four teachers will be recognized for their achievement.
