Welcome to Manson Public Schools and the Manson Community. This is a great place to live, a great place to grow and a great place to raise a family.

We are proud of our students' accomplishments. At Manson's schools, students enter an environment that is both compassionate and challenging, a culture in which students are valued as individuals and stretched to achieve their full potential.

We've designed this site for students, parents and community members. While students will find homework links and sports schedules, parents and community members can view upcoming events, visit the Newsroom or browse our photo galleries.

Thank you for visiting Manson School District, where each child achieves "Continuous Student Learning.”

Sincerely,
Matt Charlton, Superintendent

Manson Senior-Junior High School Earns Impressive State High School Ranking

US News and World Report recently released their 2012 Ranking of America’s Best High Schools and   Manson Junior-Senior High earned a silver medal ranking for the first time.  Manson High School was listed as one of the highest ranked high schools in the NCW region with a state ranking of 31st and an overall national ranking of 1,013.

"It's very exciting to be noticed and ranked so high out of so many schools!  It's great that our school is 31st and that our students are recognized as high achieving." Alexis Castro, Manson High Junior.

Manson High School, which had earned bronze level recognition in the previous three years, strengthened its ranking by increasing the number of students taking college level courses and scoring well on advanced placement tests.  The district’s focus on post-secondary and college preparation for all students is contributing to the high number of students taking these demanding courses.

Upon hearing of the state and national recognition, language arts instructor Sue Neff shared “The challenges of teaching my students make every day interesting but being able to overcome those challenges and receive the recognition that those students deserve is what makes my life as an educator meaningful.  I am sure that many of the teachers in our district feel this way and it shows.”

Manson Junior-Senior High School students and staff will celebrate their achievement on May 18th at an afternoon assembly.  The Manson School Board of Directors will recognize the school’s achievement on May 21st at their regularly scheduled board meeting.
